Many of the kids helped by HCF

Alexis Hess with her Lady-bug. Her story inspired the beginning of the Hess Cancer Foundation.

Pisith passed away with cancer in December 2005, and HCF was able to help them cover costs. They were the first family that HCF helped.

Brenda Trujillo passed away with cancer in August of 2006. The Hess Cancer Foundation was able to help her family with funeral costs. A close friend of Brenda’s Mother typed the letter below about Brenda.

During 2007 the Hess Cancer Foundation helped 3 families. Joanna Ojeda’s family was one of them. This is a copy of her obituary.

Andre Soriano also lost his fight with cancer. His family was also helped by HCF during 2007.

During February of 2008, HCF helped the Benyon family with Tony’s obituary.

HCF helped AJ’s family in August of 2008.

During August of 2008, HCF helped Nasir Watkin’s Family.

During September of 2008, HCF helped Leah McCorkle’s family.

During October of 2008, Olivia’s family was helped by HCF.

In May of 2009, Brunte’s family was helped by HCF.

On July 5th, 2009, Hardy Lin passed away after a long struggle with liver cancer. HCF helped his family with funeral costs.

In July of 2009, Daniel Record’s family was helped by HCF.

On May 4th, 2010, Gavin passed on with brain cancer. HCF helped his family with related costs.

In September of 2010, Andrew Arnold passed away with cancer. HCF provided assistance to the Arnold family.
